OPEN WATER DIVER
If you´ve always wanted to learn to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, this is where it all starts.
The PADI Open Water Diver will be your best choice; it is the most popular course in the world for diving and has introduced millions of people to the lifestyle of adventure diving. During the course you will have five sessions in confined water and four dives in sites in the area, under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.
Your instructor will help you with considerations about the diving equipment for your local diving environment, how to plan and make real dives and how to prevent and manage problems.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development (online, home study or in our classroom) to understand the basic principles of scuba diving, confined dives to learn basic techniques of diving and open water dives to review your skills and explore! The course duration is three or four days, depending on the needs of each student.
Open Water Divers are qualified to dive worldwide, autonomously and always with a partner.
To join the PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Diver, you must be:
10 years of age or older (PADI eLearning requires a minimum age of 13 years due to international internet laws).
